Plan Ramadan reminders and Quran reading

Check location, date and calculation method together when setting Ramadan reminders. Muslim Mubarak includes suhoor/iftar reminders and reading progress; a notification does not replace an authoritative local timetable.

What should I check first?

Confirm that your location is not still set to a previous city. Review your phone time zone and the app calculation method. Compare imsak and maghrib for the same date with your local authority’s timetable. Repeat the check after travelling.

How should I set reminders?

Enable Ramadan reminders and choose how early you want a preparation reminder. iPhone notification permission and sound settings must allow it; Focus may silence alerts. Open the app after changing settings and check the next scheduled time.

Make a reading plan you can maintain

Choose a short daily reading period. Note your surah, verse and translation so you can continue without guessing. Download the text and audio needed before travelling, and test them in airplane mode.

Where do dates come from?

This guide does not announce Ramadan dates or provide a city timetable. Hijri date adjustments and local announcements may differ. In Turkey, check Diyanet’s current timetable for the relevant district.
